The Mask Bully: Christian Responsibilities

This will hopefully be the Mask Bully‘s last day of attempting world domination sharing the truth about masks.

I talked about why people might be anti-mask.

I shared thoughts on reputable science and explained why it seemed like scientists “flip-flopped.”

I provided sources showing that masks are effective in reducing the transmission of the novel coronavirus and extremely low-risk to the wearer.

I challenged some conspiracy theories.

I addressed claims that I was fear-mongering and pointing out that relativism doesn’t have a place in Christians’ discussions of masks.

So where do we go from here?

We seek reputable, evidence-based sources for information about COVID-19 and masks.

We wear masks when they are recommended out of love for our neighbor.

We set an example as Christians by sharing the truth and accepting our responsibilities, even if it means we have to make small sacrifices.

And most importantly, we turn to God.

We pray for our world.

We pray for the souls of those who passed due to COVID.

We pray for those who lost a loved one.

We pray that those who are suffering from COVID or long-haul COVID are healed.

We pray for those who are struggling financially.

We pray for those who are suffering.

We ask God to comfort us when we feel overwhelmed with fear.

We ask God to soften our hearts when we are full of anger.

We pray for an end to the pandemic.

We trust that God has a plan.

We radiate Christ’s love through our faith and acts.
